Detailed Description
RapidDoc streamlines
the high-speed assignment of document types within an
enterprise scanning operation and greatly enhances
document handling efficiency. With an intuitive user
interface, RapidDoc enables you to sort batch document
types with a click of a mouse and eliminates the need
for separator sheets. Designed to handle ambiguous and
amorphous documents, RapidDoc gives you the tools you
need to sort document types that have subtle
differences.
RapidDoc creates a thumbnail version of scanned files
and uses it to expedite document type assignment before
routing it to the proper repository destination. A user
simply needs to click on the thumbnail to assign the
appropriate document type. Multi-page TIFF files are
quickly and accurately divided into appropriate files,
all without the need for labor-intensive separator
sheets. As documents get scanned through an enterprise
operation, RapidDoc monitors the document’s status and
queues the documents that need to be assigned types.
Once a user signs in and opens RapidDoc, the documents
needing type assignments are delivered for review in the
order they were scanned.
With the click of a mouse, RapidDoc assigns document
types to data scanned into your enterprise information
infrastructure. With minimal training users are “up and
running” with RapidDoc in a very short amount of time.
Labor-intensive separator sheets are eliminated because
document types are displayed within the RapidDoc
environment and then assigned with a simple
“point-and-click.” This reduction of labor and
streamlining of your workflow gives you the ability to
reassign valuable human resources to other mission
critical areas of your business.
RapidDoc gives each user the choice of using a mouse or
accessing commands via keyboard shortcuts. As the mouse
scrolls across the thumbnail image of the document,
three concurrent document types are displayed beside the
mouse cursor. This allows for quick assignment of
sequential document types to multiple documents,
resulting in greater workflow efficiency.
Within a large file there may be multiple document
types. RapidDoc’s AutoDoc instantly assigns the same
document type to multiple files when the first and last
file is selected. RapidDoc assigns document types to
like-type files and increases your productivity. Once a
file is assigned a document type, RapidDoc automatically
forwards it to the appropriate destination within the
iSynergy data repository. This instantaneous delivery
ensures that valuable information is immediately
available for employees, partners or other individuals.
