iLink - Image-
Enabling Technology For Any Windows Application
iLink is
an application that seamlessly integrates iSynergy with
third-party applications, allowing you to access the
images in the iSynergy database while you are working in
your line of business (L.O.B.) software applications. By
using iLink technology, you can create custom buttons or
menu options within your L.O.B. application that “link”
the desired application to iSynergy, allowing you to
execute user-defined query, scan, or barcode functions.

Detailed Description
iLink successfully
integrates iSynergy with Windows-based applications,
providing interactivity with the iSynergy database from
line of business (L.O.B.) applications. iLink technology
enables the creation of custom functions within your
L.O.B. applications that “link” the desired application
to iSynergy, provding iSynergy query, scan, or barcode
functions.
The iLink application requires no programming and allows
rapid creation of new links without the need for IT
assistance or support. Users simply place buttons on the
target application and define the criteria for the
button functionality they desire (i.e., query, scan, or
barcode). iLink also provides functionality for defining
hotkeys or menu options for most Windows-based
applications. Links can be global, meaning that an
independent hotkey function can be loaded onto your
server and configured to automatically implement on each
workstation within the server.
A link is a transparent window that maintains its
position and size to match the linked application
window. The link form displays buttons that hover over
the linked application but due to its transparency, seem
to be integrated within the application.
iLink is specifically designed to minimize integration
efforts and allow rapid deployment of a fully integrated
solution that meets the demands of any enterprise.
